PKF Zambia - CSR Day 2022
PKF ZAMBIA CARES FOR THE PEOPLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Our Livingstone office celebrated Corporate Social Responsibility Day in December 2022 under the theme "PKF Zambia cares for the people and the environment” at Musokotwane Primary School, in Kazungula District in Chief Musokotwane's Chiefdom.
The following projects were undertaken by PKF Zambia and officially handed over to the school authority:
- Rehabilitation and making of 80 School Desks
- Flooring of the 3 Class Rooms
- Fixing of wall cracks and the floor
- Putting 95 Window Panes
- Painting 6 Class Rooms both interior and exterior
- The handover ceremony also consisted of speeches, dancing entertainment, ribbon cutting, and planting of 50 fruit trees.
We also provided food to all the pupils who were present to witness the handover ceremony.
The chief’s representative, government representative and headteacher on behalf of everyone were grateful for the kind gesture rendered to them and thanked PKF Zambia.
Thereafter, a trophy was unveiled with prize money for the winners of a football match between PKF Zambia staff and the school teachers.
The football match rounded out the day.
