Purpose of the Role

To cater for our growing clientele, we are looking for an Audit Senior to be part of the operations of our audit practice. The desired candidate to serve our clients aims to maximize audit engagement and achieve the best results.

Detailed Job Responsibilities

• Display professional understanding of knowledge relevant to this position
• Audit Planning and Execution
• Client Relationship Management
• Supervise, mentor, and coach junior team members to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality work
• Should be able to manage the audit team to ensure audits are completed within the agreed timeline and budget
• Ensure efficient resource allocation and manage engagement deadlines and budgets
• Should demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards IFRS and auditing standards (ISA)
• Able to apply technical skills in audit procedures and resolve key audit issues effectively
• Should be able to build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients
• Promote the firm’s values, ethical standards, and reputation for excellence
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the superiors

Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive and recent practical experience (4 years or above) in auditing preferably in a reputable accounting practice.
• Must be a registered ZICA member at an approved class for the position.
• Must have a professional accounting qualification such as CA Zambia or ACCA or CIMA or have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
